When I was eight or nine years old, we lived on top of a small mountain in Southeast Missouri. One year we got snowed in for three months. Once a week or so my father and I would walk down to town to pick up supplies. On one of these trips we picked up art supplies for my Mother. She let me use some paper and a pencil and I started drawing Disney characters. Not much more you can do when you are stranding in a cabin in the dead of winter. :) Anyway, I latched on to it and never stopped.
Do you have a personal website or blog that you would like to share?
44 years old.
Live in a small motorhome with my wonderful wife and 2 cats.
Have been traveling the country now for 4 1/2 years.
I love creativity. Anything that I can do to create I am hooked on.
I have worked with colored pencils for years and I am starting to experiment with watercolor. Living in a small space like a motorhome really limits the media that you can work with, so more traditional painting methods are right out.

I used to use Corel Painter as well as Adobe Photoshop. Anymore though I use Photoshop all of the time. The only reason is that I had a bad scare once (on a deadline of course) where when I imported the painting from Painter into Photoshop the colors completely changed and I had to rework a lot of the painting to make it back to being correct. I never did find out (even with tech support) what happened. Ever since then I just went back to using nothing but Photoshop because I never have had any problems with it.
Yeah I would post this to the MAFIA group. I do have a couple of other artist friends in this area that would probably want to join. I will let them know about it! Thanks.
